Privacy Policy

Sweet Decibels limits data collection to what is needed to operate the website, provide requested storefront features, measure aggregate visits, and enable optional services you choose.

Your privacy choices

Cookie-free audience measurement is enabled by default. You can switch it off at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer. External media and marketing services remain disabled until you allow them. Reject all disables analytics and every optional service.

The necessary sweet_decibels_consent cookie stores the consent version, the date of your decision, and the categories you allowed. It does not identify you and expires after six months. If a browser blocks cookies, the same preference may be kept in local browser storage instead and remains subject to the browser's private-mode rules.

Storefront services

When the Moonbase storefront is enabled, necessary account, cart, checkout, purchase, download, and licensing functions may process the information required to provide the service you request. Optional marketing integrations remain disabled unless separately allowed.

Audience measurement

Sweet Decibels uses Umami Cloud to understand aggregate website visits and improve navigation and product information. Umami does not set analytics cookies or use local browser storage. Tracking is restricted to the Sweet Decibels production domains, and URL search parameters and fragments are excluded.

Umami processes technical information such as the page visited, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, country, and anonymous session information. Sweet Decibels does not send names, email addresses, account identifiers, order identifiers, or license information to Umami. This limited processing is based on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the website. You can object at any time by switching Analytics off in Cookie settings. External media

YouTube videos and similar third-party media remain unloaded until you allow external media. No advertising provider is currently configured.

Newsletter

If you actively agree and subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is sent to MailerLite so we can manage the subscriber list, send the newsletter, process confirmation, and provide unsubscribe links. MailerLite is not contacted by the signup form until you submit it. You can unsubscribe through the link included in every newsletter. Read the MailerLite Privacy Policy .

Contact

If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, selected topic, and message so we can reply and manage the conversation. Basic anti-spam checks are applied before the message is sent to our mailbox. A one-way hash of the submitting network address may be held temporarily to enforce an hourly rate limit; expired entries are removed during later form submissions.
